Brendan Facey

Brendan Facey has had a decades long career in the criminal justice system both in Victoria and the Commonwealth. Brendan’s broad experience covers investigations, intelligence, enforcement and regulation.

Brendan has significant experience within regulatory regimes, including gaming and racing, financial services, liquor and was responsible for the Victorian infringement system during which he was the Sheriff of Victoria, enforcing on behalf of more than 130 enforcement agencies.

Most recently Brendan was a Senior Executive at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, responsible for Misconduct and Breach Reporting, as well as its Criminal Intelligence function. This put Brendan right at the heart of decision making by the corporate regulator at which matters it would choose to investigate and prosecute. He was also a member of key national Criminal Intelligence and Serious Organised Crime bodies gaining valuable experience in serious crime identification and investigation.

In addition to Admission, Brendan also holds an Honours degree in Arts and a Masters degree in Public Administration.
